This month is Water Conservation Month as declared by the Suwannee River Water Management District.

Fanning Springs will be holding their Earth Day Celebration on April 17th, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Fanning Springs Historical Park.

The city now has a Community Center that can be rented out for for events like weddings, receptions, birthdays, clubs like the Garden Club, or Scouting. Just call city hall to make arrangements and reserve your date. Fees are

We are proud to announce that our Fanning Springs sewer project will soon start the building process. We will keep you posted as more information comes in.

Our Jewel on the Suwannee, Fanning Spring Historical Park, has secured a competive Grant to build a dock and a restroom down by the river. The restrooms will be built after we have our city sewer in place.

Really great news. the new Central Florida Comminty College will be building in our service area just south of our city and we will be supplying them with city water and sewer.

Many wonderfiull things will be coming to Fanning Springs in the near future and we need to be ahead of the curve to support these new ventures.

We welcome and encourage new growth. The Super Dollar General store has made life easier for many of us, and we are proud they are here.
