Suwannee River Water Management District implements water conservation rules.

Effective January 6, 2010, all homeowners and others within the Suwannee River Water Management District (District) are asked to limit landscape irrigation to one or two days per week, depending upon the time of the year.

 Qualifying Complete for the City of Fanning Springs Election

Qualifying for the Fanning Springs City Council was completed as of Friday, July 30, 2010.  Seaking the seat for Mayor will be Cheryl Nekola and June Ladewig.  Running for Seat #3 will be Al Barrett and Barbara Locke.  Election will take place on November 2, 2010, at City Hall located at 17651 NW 90th Ct., Fanning Springs,FL. Polls will open at 7:00 am, closing at 7:00 pm.
